Director

Jeff Wilson is a Director at Roots Recruiting where he focuses on permanent placements for legal and compliance professionals within the asset management space. Jeff has experience managing both the client and candidate process, with an expertise in negotiating all forms of compensation including cash, carry, equity, stock and partner interest.  

Before joining Roots, Jeff was a Director of Strategic Relationships at Kforce where he managed searches for Fortune 500 companies including Sony and a number of its subsidiaries throughout the United States.  During his tenure, he grew the practice, adding over 1mm in annual revenue.  Most recently Jeff worked for Jobvite, providing clients with strategic guidance on talent acquisition and retention strategies. 

Jeff is a graduate of San Jose State University where he received a B.S. in Corporate Finance. He grew up in the Northern California area and now resides in Southern California where he enjoys playing golf and running.
